Anthony Steel
Anthony was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1998. He has worked as a solicitor since 2001 and is qualified to practice as a solicitor and barrister at all levels of the Court system from local courts and tribunals to the High Court.

Mid Mountains Legal has been operating in Lawson since 2018. The firm’s principal areas of practice are family law, estate planning and administration, conveyancing, retail and commercial leases, legal advice regarding loan and guarantor documents, drafting legal documents including deeds, agreements and contracts, wills, powers of attorney, guardian appointments, terms of trade, statutory declarations, affidavits and statements, and local court criminal and traffic matters.

Our rates are reasonable and competitive. Initial phone advice is free and there is a minimal fixed professional fee for initial advice face to face or using an electronic platform.
Administrative work, travel and waiting time in court is charged at a lower hourly rate or at a fixed fee. We will travel to your home, hospital, retirement village or nursing facility to explain, provide advice concerning, and witness your signature on documents.
Reading incoming correspondence and emails (excl attachments), scanning and printing documents, and legal research is generally free. Certifying documents, witnessing signatures, storage and retrieval of documents held in safe custody is free.
Payment of professional fees for most conveyancing, deceased estate administration, family provision and family law property matters can be deferred on request until after a grant of probate, letters of administration or a settlement payout.
If you prefer to represent yourself in court proceedings, we will review documents drafted by you or another solicitor and in certain circumstances we may agree to draft court documents for you.
