We very rarely charge for reading incoming correspondence and for conducting research. We do not charge for certifying and copying documents or for storage and retrieval of files and documents held in safe custody.
For real estate sales, estate administration, family provision and certain family law property matters, if you are not in a position to pay our professional fees, we will consider, after discussing it with you, a request to defer payment of our professional fees until probate has been granted or you receive a settlement payout.
We will also consider on request assisting you on an ad-hoc basis if you opt to represent yourself in Court and to review documents drafted by you or by someone else.
For a modest fee, we will travel to your home, hospital, retirement village or nursing facility to advise you generally and to explain and witness documents such as your Will, Enduring Power of Attorney, Appointment of Enduring Guardian, and Advance Care Directive.
