Anthony Steel
Anthony was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1998. He has worked as a solicitor since 2001 and is qualified to practice as a solicitor and barrister at all levels of the Court system from local courts and tribunals to the High Court.

Mid Mountains Legal has been operating in Lawson since 2018. The firm’s principal areas of practice are family law, estate planning and administration, wills, powers of attorney, guardian appointments, conveyancing, retail and commercial leases, legal advice regarding loan and guarantor documents, drafting legal documents such as deeds, agreements, contracts and terms of trade, statutory declarations, affidavits and statements, and local court criminal and traffic matters.

Our rates are reasonable and competitive. Initial phone advice is free and there is a minimal fixed professional fee for initial advice by appointment.
Administrative work, travel and waiting time in court is charged at a lower hourly rate or at a fixed fee. We will travel to your home, hospital, retirement village or nursing facility to explain, advise about, and witness your signature on documents.
Opening a file, reading incoming correspondence and emails, scanning and printing documents, legal research, certifying documents, witnessing signatures, recording, storage and retrieval of documents held in safe custody are all free of charge.
Payment of professional fees for most conveyancing, deceased estate administration, family provision and family law property matters is deferred on a case by case basis until a grant of probate, letters of administration or a settlement payout is obtained.
If you prefer to represent yourself in court proceedings, we will review documents drafted by you or another solicitor and we may agree to draft court documents for you.
