Administrative work, travel and waiting time in court is charged at a lower hourly rate or at a fixed fee. We will travel to your home, hospital, retirement village or nursing facility to explain, provide advice concerning, and witness your signature on documents.

Reading incoming correspondence and emails (excl attachments), scanning and printing documents, and legal research is generally free. Certifying documents, witnessing signatures, storage and retrieval of documents held in safe custody is free.

Payment of professional fees for most conveyancing, deceased estate administration, family provision and family law property matters can be deferred on request until after a grant of probate, letters of administration or a settlement payout.

If you prefer to represent yourself in court proceedings, we will review documents drafted by you or another solicitor and in certain circumstances we may agree to draft court documents for you.
